Hersham Beer Festival

Griffin Bars are provided the technical know how, the ales, bars and all means of dispensing for the Hersham Beer Festival for 2009 & 2010.

Egham Real Ale & Cider Festival

The Egham Beer Festival is held at the Egham United Serivces three times a year, the first festival was held in December 2008.

Egham Royal Show Real Ale & Cider Festival

2009 - The Egham Royal Show will be hosting its first Real Ale and Cider festival in its 150 years; there was a one off brew to celebrate the event called "Egham Show Bitter".

2010 - Griffin Bars have been invited back to provide another festival for this years very succesful show.

Windsor & Eton Brewery have produced a one off real ale for the Egham Royal Show.

Real Ales & Open air cinema comes to Surrey 2009

Griffin Bars have teamed up with the Green Cinema Company to bring Open Air Cinema, real ale and real cider weekends to three parks in Surrey throughout August.

The first real ale and cinema ‘festival’ at Frimley Lodge Park in August, followed by Reigate’s Priory Park and ending with City of London Freemen’s School in Ashtead.

The films under the stars will be blockbusters James Bond’s ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, fun family films ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘School of Rock’ and classic romance movies ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Pretty Woman’.

Each venue had Griffin Bars serving real ales and organic lager from Hepworth Brewery, Weizen beer from Waylands Brewery in Addlestone along with real cider from Mr Whiteheads cider, wines, spirits and soft drinks for the drivers.

A percentage of the profits was donated to the tree planting scheme to plant native English deciduous tree saplings.
